Thursday nights are now FREE at the Albany Institute! Current exhibitions include Spotlight: Alexander Hamilton, In Motion: The African American Migration Experience, and Captured Moments: 170 Years of Photography from the Albany Institute.

What: Giant Try It

Try It is a great opportunity to tour the Arts Center and do easy-to-learn projects in almost every studio! Instructors will be available to help you and your Scholar discover the digital arts lab (play with game design programs), clay (try your hand at the wheel), culinary (learn to make gnocchi and sauce), jewelry (pound a word into copper), and much more!

What: Night Sky Adventure – Updates from Juno at Jupiter  

Jupiter may be the largest planet in the solar system, but there is a lot of unknown information about Jupiter. What is the atmosphere like? What fuels the great red spot? Juno, a recent mission to Jupiter, will help us answer these and other questions. At this event, educators from the Dudley Observatory present astronomy lessons, planetarium shows and night sky viewing (weather depending). One or more telescopes will be provided for public use.
